This Black-billed Cuckoo
was photographed at Lucky Hammock, just outside Everglades National Park's
southeast entrance. This was my first digiscoping attempt with the Nikon
Coolpix 4500...needless to say I was more concerned with documenting this
rarity than I was getting the proper exposure or focus. Hopefully there
will be a "next time" so I can get it right! The pictures were taken, handheld,
with a Coolpix 4500 digital camera through a Leica Televid APO 77 spotting
scope. They were then post-processed in Photoshop.
