These pictures were taken, handheld, with a Coolpix 4500 digital camera through a Leica Televid APO 77 spotting scope. They were then post-processed in Photoshop.


This Loggerhead Shrike was perched in a ficus tree on the Anhinga Trail in Everglades National Park. The little guy had molted all of
his tail feathers! (note the little stumpy one behind his right foot)

These shots are of a Loggerhead Shrike that was perched on the wires along Air Jet Road, right next to Lucky Hammock.
